1985 - 1995

1985 :

Started operations at the Pathum Thani facility under Siam Modified Starch Co., Ltd.

1987 :

Opened SMS head office in Pathum Thani

1995 :

Started operations at the Chaiyaphum facility (Phase 1) under Siam Quality Starch Co., Ltd.

1996 - 2000

1996 :

Received certification (ISO 9002:1994) for Kosher and Halal food standards at the Pathum Thani facility.

1999 :

Completed construction of the Chaiyaphum facility (Phase 2).

2000 :

Received certification (ISO 9002:1994) at the Chaiyaphum facility.

2001 - 2005

2003 :

Received certification (ISO 9001:2000) for GMP, HACCP and Halal food standards at the Chaiyaphum facility.

2004 :

Started operating the Spray Dryer at Pathum Thani facility. Received certification(ISO 9001) for HACCP, and OHSAS at the Pathum Thani facility. Received certification (TIS18001; OHSAS 18001) at the Chaiyaphum facility.

2005 :

Opened the new head office and research facility in Pathum Thani. Received certification (ISO 14001) at the the Pathum Thani facility. Received certification (ISO 14001) for Kosher food standards at the the Chaiyaphum facility.

2006 – 2010

2006 :

Completed expansion of the Chaiyaphum facility (Phase 3).

2009 :

Started operating the Drum Dryer at the Pathum Thani facility (Phase 1).

2010 :

Completed expansion of the Research Center at Pathum Thani Office.

2011 – 2015

2013 :

Started operating the Drum Dryer (Phases 2 & 3) at the Pathum Thani facility.

2014 :

Completed the expansion of the Chaiyaphum facility (Phase 4).

2015 :

Began construction of the Buriram facility under Siam Modified Starch Co., Ltd. Established SMS Corporation Co., Ltd. Our commercial and innovation center.
Received FSSC 22000 certification (Food Safety System Certification 22000) for pregelatinized starch.

2016 – Current

2017 :

Opened Siam Modified Starch in Buriram province.

2018 :

Received the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety certification.
