Process Development Engineer (Science)

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and design starch modification experiments to test their suitability for large scale production.
- Conduct tests requiring a high degree of technical understanding of starch chemistry and process technology.
- Indentify and solve process-related issues in a timely manner.
- Improve existing process to reduce cost and increase reliability, purity and safety.
- Develop new ideas and techniques for process improvements
- Maintain up to date knowledge about latest development in modified starch field.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry / Organic chemistry / Food science / Chemical engineering or related field
- At least 3 years experience product or process development in starch industry or food industry
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good command in English
