Modified Starch for Coreboard-High Ply Bond
High ply bond grade core board is widely utilized in paper, board, textile, and yarn industries. SMS has developed EXCEL SPA VR, an specialty starch product for spraying applications in industries that use high ply bond grade core board.
EXCEL SPA VR offers superior ply bonding performance while requiring lower dosages than conventional native starches. This efficiency leads to reduced Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), making it an environmentally friendlier option for industrial processes.
