SMS Highlighted the Sustainable Solution to Replace Single-Use Plastic at IPPTA, ZONAL SEMINAR 2023

August 3-4th, SMS specialist team attended the special seminar at IPPTA 2023, CFTRI Auditorium, Mysuru. The seminar was executed to outline and regenerate the idea of sustainable product implementation for plastic replacement.
SMS highlighted in the seminar with the topic ‘Enhancing Paper’s Barrier Properties for Sustainable Plastic Alternatives’ by Mr. Pitipong Wanakhachornkrai (Senior Product Innovation Manager) and Mr. Aukkrapon Dangsopon (Assistant Industrial Innovation Manager), introducing the sustainable innovation from modified starch with superior properties for oil/grease resistant paper packaging.

EXCEL GR Series is a starch-based coating agent specially designed to supersede conventional coating agents.
The uniquely modified EXCEL GR Series can be processed in water for typical-size press or coating processes. The resulting film formation on the paper surface provides an excellent grease barrier.
