SMS highlighted Innovative Starch Solutions for Corrugated Board Products at Corrutec Asia 2022

SMS specialist & technician team outlined the innovative solutions to maximize corrugated board products with the most cost-effectiveness through modified starch solutions as carrier starch and additives for adhesive in corrugated board.
At the seminar on Oct 19th, SMS teams pointed out the corrugated board market and common pain points which are barriers for manufacturers, and how competitive starch solutions can be applied for better glue performance, improved board strength, and faster machine runnability. 

There were a number of manufacturers visiting SMS’s exhibition, including larger and small manufacturers. SMS also displayed biodegradable products made from TAPIOPLAST® - a functional bioplastic resin derived from natural cassava. It is engineered to lead the way to sustainability by providing fast biodegradation and bio-content at a more affordable price than other biodegradable polymers.
