SMS Collaborated MOU for OTOP Development

December 24th, 2019 Mr. Khem Wanglee – The managing Director of SMS Corporation, has partaken MOU to associate the Local Community Product Development project, under the strategy of local development to his majesty’s address for 2020 annual budget. The association is participated by many educational and important institutes including Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, Muban Chombueng Rajabhat University, Phetchaburi Rajabhat University, Office of Commercial Affair of Phatumthani, and SMS Corporation, by having Mr. Suchart Sinrat – Deputy Permanent Secretary stating the conference opening. At the conference, there were many lectures about Community Development Department’s Organization Governance Policy, and also interview many entrepreneurs to select the best local product to be developed and pushed up for the global market.

The purpose of the project is to support the collaboration for OTOP development in Western Thailand provinces; Kanchanaburi, Rachaburi, Samutsakorn, Samutsongkram, Petchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Suphanburi, and Nakhon Pathom province. The primary missions are to produce graduates in education to serve the need of local community’s development, give wider educational opportunities, conserve the traditional art and culture, lift up local product to international standard, improve capacity in competitive market, add value to product by technology and innovation, and promote local economy and give the innovation training to manufacturers.
