This partnership aligns with Mahidol University’s commitment to sustainable development and SMS’s ongoing efforts to promote innovative, eco-friendly solutions within the modified tapioca starch industry.

The primary objective of the visit is to exchange knowledge and insights in science and innovation for sustainable development, particularly through the exploration of eco-friendly products and production processes. This program emphasizes hands-on learning, providing students with valuable industry experience.

After the discussions, the delegation tours SMS’s Industrial and Food Innovation laboratory, where they gain insights into SMS’s Innovation Center. This visit highlights  the critical role of these facilities in driving the successful development of new, sustainable products.

This collaborative visit lays a strong foundation for future projects that blend the expertise of academia and industry. Both SMS and Mahidol University look forward to exploring further collaborative initiatives that advance sustainable innovation, promote eco-friendly solutions, and contribute to the development of a skilled workforce ready for global challenges.
